An EP me and my friends wrote back around 2012-2014 that sadly never saw the light of day. I wanted to revisit and record these tracks as a time capsule to those days and give them a fresh coat of paint in the process.

At the time, we were a band called Jane Doe, a name unwittingly borrowed from Converge, so it only seemed fit to name my new project after them as well; Cruel Bloom.

As much as this was a bit of a nostalgia trip for me revisiting these old songs, I'd like to thank everyone in the band for their contributions and the wholesome times we had together playing music. I'd also like to thank my parents for letting us invade the house and make obscene amounts of noise during band practice.
